Paragliding :

Paragliding training is conducted under the auspices of the Himalayan Paragliding Institute who has so far trained over 5000 students from India and Abroad. The equipment used  is completely imported from the UK, Austria and Switzerland. The chief Instructors have trained from Austria and provide training as per the international standards.

5 Day Basic Paragliding Training Course. The first day is devoted exclusively to Theory (video shows) and ground training. The next four days are spent in perfecting the flying techniques; launching from a 110 m basic slope OR towed by winch. At the end of the course the student is assessed and awarded a certificate and a grade depending on his or her performance.

Pauri Garhwal - a small hill station in the higher reaches of the Himalayas (2000m).  
Dehra Dun - nestled in the Doon Valley of the Himalayan foothills, this is the capital of the newly founded hill State of Uttaranchal .

Flying & Touring :For those who are already sufficiently trained and experienced to fly Solo, there are special package tours to enable them to fly from different exotic locations in the Himalayas. So not only they get to tour in the magnificent Himalayan regions of India, they also 'fly' to your hearts content in the worlds highest mountain range. The cost for this experience is $ 160 per day.
